Training from the Trenches™ projects differ from the courses. A course will teach you all you need to know about drawing or rendering in a general sense, using real-life subjects. A project takes a given object (such as a ball-point pen, car, or airplane) and teaches you to draw both line art and full color renderings of that object. In this way, you'll have two or three hours of drawing it one way, and the same or more drawing it another. In some instances, you'll go further with cutaways or exploded views. Each project is designed to teach you a new skillset that you can use in your everyday work. They assume that you're very comfortable with the Adobe Illustrator interface and can hold your own in the program.
